She drives to her ex's father's Malibu house to collect her things, and she stays to show the son exactly what he lost, which puts her ex's father at the center of her plan. Crushi tags the series Forbidden, Summer, Older Man, Ex and Revenge. It is a story about payback with a deliberate line crossed: the characters are all adults, there is no family tie between the stylist and the father beyond her past with his son, and the setting is a single house in Malibu.
