How to watch Candy Shorts free, and when Premium pays off

What plays free, and where

Free viewing happens on candy.ai, in the Shorts catalog at candy.ai/candy-shorts. As of October 2, 2026, Candy is running a test that splits guests roughly in half. One group plays episodes 1 and 2 with no account; the other gets episode 1, then a "Sign up free to keep watching" screen before episode 2. Each guest lands in one version, and you can't choose which. A free account removes the difference, and on September 23 there was no split at all: both episodes were open to guests. Here is the full picture:

Two practical points follow. Episode 1 is the free episode you can count on without giving an email, in any regular series. And the free account is worth creating if you want to sample widely: as of October 2026 it opens 246 episodes, the first two of each of the 123 regular series, at about a minute each. That is a few hours of viewing before you spend anything, enough to judge the writing and the production across the catalog, though not the adult scenes, which in many series start later.

Can you watch full series free?

Not on the official site. From episode 3, a regular series sits behind Premium, and the Spicy titles are locked from their first episode. In numbers, 523 of the 769 episodes in the catalog need Premium as of October 2026, including the 62 episodes of the nine Spicy series. That matters more than it sounds, because in many series the free pair is setup: episode 2 ends on a hook, and the adult scenes arrive with episode 3. Premium plans and prices

Candy's plans page, candy.ai/subscriptions, shows three Premium options to guests as of October 2, 2026. The figures are identical in dollars from the US and in euros from Italy:

The two longer plans are shown against a struck-through $13.99, the monthly rate. Premium lists six features: creating your own AI characters, 18+ video generation, 18+ image generation, the "Full Live Action Experience", unlimited text messages and 100 tokens a month. For the series, what counts is that Premium opens episode 3 onward and the Spicy category. A second tier, Premium Plus, exists according to Candy's help center (it comes with 330 tokens a month), but guests aren't shown its price. Local taxes may apply, so the checkout has the final figure.

How tokens work

Tokens are the usage-based part, and they matter less than the plan. Premium is the entry ticket: from $3.99 a month on the yearly plan, it opens the full catalog, Spicy included. From episode 3, viewing is usage-based, so locked episodes unlock with tokens, and Premium adds 100 tokens a month, credited on the renewal date according to Candy's help center (September 2026). More can be bought from inside an account, since the top-up page sends guests to the login screen. Locked episodes show their token cost before you unlock them. In our September test, a member with no tokens left could still watch episodes 1 and 2 of a Spicy series.

When Premium pays off

We watched the locked episodes with Premium in September 2026, and in our view they deliver what the free ones promise. In many series episode 2 stops on a hook and episode 3 goes straight into the adult scenes, staged faithfully and without dead time. Image and voices hold up, the creator series especially, and the stories have enough setup for the scenes to mean something. For a viewer who wants complete episodes, Premium opens a large catalog made with care, 132 series as of October 2026, and the Spicy titles are where we would start.

The money side is simple arithmetic on the October prices. The yearly plan costs $47.88 up front, less than three and a half months of the $13.99 monthly plan, so it pays off if you keep Premium into a fourth month. The 3-month plan, at $26.97, costs less than two monthly payments ($27.98). If you only want to finish one or two series you liked, a single month is the honest test, plus any tokens beyond the 100 included, and you can cancel before it renews. If two free episodes per series are enough for you, Premium isn't needed.

Candy Shorts on Dailymotion, YouTube or Reddit

Candy's series are published on candy.ai, with the same catalog listed on candyshorts.com, its second official site. Candy does run a YouTube account, @trycandyai, one of five social accounts linked from candy.ai as of October 2026 alongside Discord, X, Instagram and TikTok, while Dailymotion and Reddit aren't among them. Its terms rule out downloading and re-sharing episodes, and its Community Guidelines bar duplicating site content without consent, so a series episode uploaded to Dailymotion, Reddit or any YouTube channel other than Candy's is an unauthorized copy, whatever its title says. Renewal, billing and canceling

The small print on the plans page covers the essentials as of October 2026: a plan can be canceled at any time, it renews automatically at the same price and for the same term until you do, and local taxes may apply. The charge appears on bank statements as "EverAI", the name of the Malta company that runs Candy.ai, which helps you tell a real Candy charge from anything else.
